Disney Princess Redesign

Let's talk about this for a minute. I love all the Disney princesses equally but this picture makes me despise pretty much all of them. Let's go from left to right. Pocahontas doesn't look all that bad. She is actually the most similar to original self. Then we have Jasmine in this picture she looks like a really short for some odd reason. Her outfit should not have sparkles! Then there is Cinderella. Poor Cinderella they changed almost everything about her. They changed her face to make it look more modern or whatever. Her dress, don't even get me started. Then there's Mulon. I'm pretty sure she only wore that dress once the entire movie, but whatever. They made her looks little too pretty in my personal opinion. Tiana looks beautiful. Ariel looks like she is way older than 16. Rap unseal looks weird her hair is much darker and so is her dress. Belle just looks more dolled up. Aurora's face looks like   Cinderella's but her dress is pretty much the same. Snow White, the only thing different about her is the top of her dress which is lighter blue and not supposed to be glittery. 

This is the closest I can find to the original. 

Disney MagicBands and Fastpass plus

My family has been selected to use Disney's new MagicBands. Our trip is not until February but being curious I have done my research and here's what I have found.

The magic bands are worn around your wrist and act as your key to the world (for Disney Newbies that's the pass that gets you in and put of the parks). If you have been to disney recently they installed the posts that allow you to just tap your key to the world pass on them instead of swiping the cards. I went last year when they had these and I thought it was the neatest thing but now they have these magic bands and I am very excited to use them! With the bands there is also Fastpass Plus this is a really cool idea. With Fastpass plus you can "reserve" your fast passes on an app on your phone. You choose two(?) per day for one park each. It basically allows you to plan ahead. This is awesome becomes some of the lines at Disney get crazy so now it will be nice to nit have to rush to get a fast pass that might be gone. 

Disney will alert you if your family has been chosen to use them on your vacation. Then you can choose your color (there are a lot of options I chose pink) and customize with your name. They ship them to you before your vacation. Ours came a month early. They are water proof so there is no need to take them off during your vacations and they are actually not that bulky! 

Why Disney?

Everyone has their obsessions like collecting stamps or owning snow globes from everywhere they visit. I LOVE disney, but why? Disney is just so amazing. Their first full color motion picture was Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs and that was in 1937. Disney creates wonderful films that share such lovely messages. I first became obsessed with disney when I watched Cinderella for the first time. As a little girl I was amazed by the animation. Disney puts so much detail in their films. If you pause movies like tangled at the right moment you can see reflections in the characters eyes. It is incredible how much detail there is for something that is barely noticeable. Disney is just so awesome and that's why I love it.
